Irma´s puppys have arrived 090927. They are well...all
nine puppys...seven girls and two boys..
Parents are Skogsbygdens Irma Virvelvind and Pihlspetsens Abbe.

My name is Jonna Kanerva and a
run Högalids kennel in Mårdaklev since August, 2004. Mårdaklev is situated
about 25 km north of the small town “Ullared”.
I bought my first Västgötaspets
in 2002 and it was love at first sight. I love that breed.
I have a small kennel in the country and rearing takes place in a home
environment. I breed about one litter a year. I got fourth litter, up until
my 5th year’s anniversary.
As breeders, it is important for me to use healthy dogs that are breed
typical for maintaining the västgötaspetsens health.
I “eye-lit” my dogs eyes after SKV's (a Swedish association for
Västgötaspets) recommendations and I do a
X-ray examination of their hip-joint.
I attend a lot of activities with my dogs such as exhibitions, tracking,
obedience, herding, etc. I'm also active in the working dog club in Ullared.
My dogs are accustomed to other animals like horses, cats, cows, etc..

Next litter is planned to arrive in beginning of September, week 39.
The pup´s from Amanda´s litter are now sold, but for you who are intrested
in a Västgötaspets-pup,I will mate Irma in week 31 with Pihlspetsens Abbe.

A couple of days ago, May 4th, Høgalids Amanda Makaløs delivered 2
well-shaped male puppies. They are together with their mother feeling fine
and are just waiting to start explor the world around them!
The birth went all well and Amanda takes good care of them.

Next litter is planned to arrive in beginning of May.
Parents are Högalids Amanda Makalös
and world winner 2008 Skogsbygdens Hjärter Ess.
They have both performed eye-check without any remarks and also
HD X-ray without any remarks.
They both have good temperament and are good looking, so my hope
is that the pups will be the same.

Irma Virvelvind and Zoyaåsens Yorm had nine pups 19th of May
2008. It was 5 males and 4 females.
One of the boys have moved to Finland and another to Norway. Högalids Barro lives in Lohja with the Purontaus family.
